SJR 55 to be heard in Committee on Monday, October 20 at pm at State House Annex

Very, very important update on NJ Legislature.

SRJ55 (which calls on Gov. Corzine to take steps to bring home the NJ National Guard from Iraq ) will be heard in the Senate State Government Committee on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 1pm.

Where: State House Annex, right next to the State House, Room 7, 2^dn Floor

There are 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans on the State Government Committee. Bills are generally not posted by a Chairperson if he/she doesn’t support them. State Senator Weinberg IS on that committee.

It would be great if people who are available on Oct. 20 can be there at the committee meeting. Things are in great flux in the legislature, so do call the committee office before you head off to Trenton .
